Local transportation within the same city is usually completed within a single day, subject to traffic and access conditions at both ends. Intercity transportation naturally takes longer and depends heavily on the distance between cities — a move within the same state usually takes less time than one spanning across the country, and we'll share a realistic estimate once pickup and delivery cities are confirmed.
For closed-body trucks used in intercity transport, goods generally travel more securely against weather and road conditions compared to open vehicles, which is why they're the standard choice for household and office relocations covering longer distances. Goods inside are packed and arranged so heavier items don't press against fragile ones during the journey.
If your move involves a particularly heavy load or oversized furniture, do mention this during the survey — it helps us choose a vehicle with adequate capacity and plan the loading sequence properly rather than discovering a mismatch on move day.
Transportation charges form part of your overall estimate and are reflected in the GST bill provided once the service is complete.
