Urban Relocations provides trained manpower for loading and unloading, whether as part of a complete relocation or as a standalone service if you've arranged your own transport.

This service is used by households doing a partial self-move, businesses receiving bulk deliveries, and anyone who simply needs manpower and the right equipment to move heavy items safely. We offer this support across our branch locations including Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and other cities.

How it works

How goods are loaded matters as much as how they're packed — heavier furniture and appliances are usually loaded first and secured against the vehicle walls, with lighter cartons and fragile items placed on top or in gaps where they won't be crushed. This sequencing reduces shifting during transit, which is one of the more common causes of damage on longer routes.

Access constraints are worth mentioning upfront — a narrow staircase, a lift that's out of service, or a parking spot far from the entrance all affect how long loading or unloading takes and how many helpers are needed. Flagging this during booking helps us plan the right team size.

If you only need loading or unloading — for instance, if you're renting your own vehicle or receiving a delivery — this can be booked independently of a full relocation package. Just share the volume and type of goods involved so we can send an appropriately sized team.

Charges for loading and unloading, whether standalone or part of a larger move, are reflected in the GST bill provided at the end of the service.
